New Dodge CEO Talks Shop in Interview

Recently, WardsAuto scored an interview with someone we always like to hear from: Tim Kuniskis, the CEO of Dodge. He's been on the job since April, and is tasked with keeping the collection of quality vehicles in our West Bend, WI showroom rolling and perhaps introducing a few new ideas, as well.

Previously Kuniskis helped bring the FIAT brand to America and under the Chrysler arm, and as many have seen, it's been quite successful. With Dodge being around for 100 years, it's more about evaluating strengths, and running with them.

Of course, at Russ Darrow Chrysler Jeep Dodge we know that new Dodge models have one particular strength: power.

Models like the Charger and Challenger are primed to perform, from the ample engines in baseline models, up to the SRT trims that really ratchet up performance. Kuniskis is an owner of two Challengers himself, so he definitely wants to explore the possibilities with promoting that side of the brand, according to the interview.

He also stated that the 2014 Durango as a redesigned model will wow people, and there is even the potential for a new vehicle joining the Dodge lineup, but Kuniskis wouldn't elaborate on that one, probably because it is just in the brainstorming phase.

We'll keep you posted on any Dodge news right here on the blog, so follow us today. In the meantime, you can stop in and see us during regular business hours, or get in touch online.  We'd be happy to continue the conversation, answer any questions you might have, and set up test drives in models that interest you.
