2020 Jeep Gladiator Revives the Jeep Truck

Jeep Announces New Truck Option

Jeep used to offer an off-road truck. After 26 years, the wait is over. They are releasing the 2020 Jeep Gladiator soon and it is everything Jeep lovers have been waiting for. It has a commanding presence with an incredible amount of off-road potential.

  • Exterior: The design of the Jeep Gladiator looks like fused the front of a Jeep Wrangler and the back of a truck. Like a Jeep Wrangler, the front windshield can fold down and the roof is removable. This adds a bit more convenience and customizability of your Jeep Gladiator. It even boasts 33-inch wheels that put you above jutting rocks and tall grass.
  • Drivetrain: Jeep holds a reputation for its superb off-road capabilities. The Gladiator continues this tradition with its Rubicon trim level. It has 11.1 inches of ground clearance, Fox shockers and a disconnecting front sway bar.
  • Engine: It is unclear just how many engine option the 2020 Jeep Gladiator will have but it’s likely to have the upgraded Jeep Wrangler engine, the 3.6-liter Pentastar “Upgrade” engine. It has the ability to produce around 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A 3.0-liter EcoDiesel is rumored to also be available. With that engine under the hood, you will likely produce 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.

While it may be disappointing to learn that the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is not available yet, you may not have to wait long. Be sure to contact our dealership and our team will be more than happy to update you with new information and possible release dates for the Jeep truck. They can get into more detail about what this truck has to offer.
